Trump is now being criticized about his statement after a reporter let him know about Romney’s isolation.
Mainstream Reporters are making it seem like he was using sarcasm when the president said “Romney is in Isolation?” Reporter: “yes” Trump: “Gee that’s too bad” that is what’s being currently spread by reporters such as Jim Acosta making it sound sarcastic.
However the rest of the transcript is as follows, Reporter: ” Is that sarcasm there, sir?” Trump: “No”
There was no grin there was no hint of sarcasm
This was during a press conference in reference to COVID19. During the same reporters statements he listed off the other senators that are currently in isolation.
